Repeat Prescription Line closes
This is to let you know that our repeat prescription line closes from 31 October 2025 and so you will no longer be able to order your repeat prescription by phone.
This change means that staff will be able to focus solely on processing prescriptions. This should offer a safer, quicker and more efficient service for you.
Repeat Prescriptions
There will still be lots of options to choose when requesting your repeat prescription:
Use the NHS App:
If you have a smartphone then this is the quickest and easiest way to request your repeat prescription. Simply log in and select the Request Repeat Prescriptions option. You can choose which medication/s you need and where you prefer to get them from and also add notes for us if you wish. For more information about the nhs app visit here.
SystmOnline:
This is available through our website. SystmOnline Login
You will need a username and password which one of our receptionists should be able to supply.
Please get in touch and we will get you set up.
Paper repeat prescription slip:
Please fill in the repeat ordering slip on your current prescription and either drop it in at reception or post it into the letterbox at the front right side of the building.
Care Home patients:
Care Home patients will be unaffected by this change as the care home should be able to order prescriptions for them as usual.
Patients in outlying villages who get their prescriptions delivered:
For those patients in Warmington, Elton, Barnwell and Aldwincle who currently have your medications delivered:
You will be given extra repeat prescription request forms which you can hand in to the driver when your medication is delivered. This should ensure that you have an uninterrupted service.
We are giving patients as much notice as possible so that they can consider which of the repeat prescription methods work best for them. If you have any questions then please contact our reception in the first instance and they should be able to advise you.
