What to expect at your flu vaccine appointment

When you arrive at the practice, you will be directed by the surgery staff.

Please don’t arrive before your appointment time to avoid generating a longer queue, as we may be vaccinating up to 1,000 patients on that day.

We will ask you some questions about your health and medical history to make sure it’s safe for you to get the vaccine. You’ll receive the flu vaccine, and if eligible, you will be asked if you would like the Covid-19 vaccine as well, usually one in each arm. The injections are quick and only take a moment.

Please wear a loose-fitting top to enable us to vaccinate the top of each arm.
