About the Surgery
Welcome
Patients are at the heart of what we do and we are fortunate to have a close-knit team that works together to provide the best possible healthcare services for our Oundle community.
Whether they are GPs, nurses, members of our pharmacy and dispensary team, or care navigators on the front desk handling your queries, we aim to provide a professional and responsive service and many have been here for years.
We have an experienced management team that supports the daily running of our practice and engage regularly with patients through our Patient Participation Group.
As well as offering on the day and routine appointments for medical conditions we can also offer fitness and lifestyle advice through our Personalised Care Team of social prescribers and care coordinators.
We also offer services at Oundle school, homes and care homes and so we are a long-standing and embedded part of the local community. We also have good working relationships with the Integrated Care Board and Care Quality Commission.
Thank you for treating our team with courtesy. We are all working hard to deliver the best service that we can.
About Lakeside Healthcare
Oundle Medical Practice is a part of Lakeside Healthcare, a large GP partnership that provides NHS care for around 170,000 patients across Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Northamptonshire. We are made up of eight GP practices across 14 sites that are all part of their local communities.
We work together as practices to provide resilience, sharing learning and professional back-office support services.
Our most important asset is our people, who provide care for our patients and help run our surgeries smoothly. We employ over 500 clinical and non-clinical staff and we invest in training and developing to ensure that we retain and attract good quality staff who want to stay with us and be part of our team.
We also host a clinical research team who run high quality clinical trials and studies to support the development of new medications and preventative treatment for long-term conditions.
We are proud of what we do and strive to demonstrate our values of Caring, Respect, Quality and Teamwork in everything we do.

Practice Performance
GP Patient Survey
The GP Patient Survey is an independent survey run by Ipsos MORI on behalf of NHS England. The survey is sent out to over two million people across England. The results show how people feel about their GP practice.
Care Quality Commission
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) makes sure hospitals, care homes, dental and GP surgeries, and all other care services in England provide people with safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality care and encourages them to make improvements where possible.
Our overall CQC Rating was: GOOD
Patient Participation Group (PPG)
The Practice strives to provide excellent healthcare. We welcome constructive feedback and suggestions to help shape our services to serve the needs of all of our patients. Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) meets at the practice to provide a forum for discussion about the practice.
