Protected Learning Time for staff

This is to inform you that, as from 12^th October 2022 we will be introducing Protected Learning Time for our staff which means that the surgery will be closed to patients for one afternoon per month for staff training.  

The introduction of Protected Learning Time brings us in line with Primary Care colleagues across Northamptonshire. Protected Learning Time provides an opportunity for our team to share best practice, learn about clinical progress and updates to national guidance, ultimately helping us to improve our service by offering targeted professional development to our team. 

Please be assured that, while the Surgery is closed for these sessions you can still seek non-urgent medical advice by calling 111 or else submitting an online Doctrin consultation which will be actioned the next working day. For more information about Doctrin and how to use it please click here. 

The dates for the closure of the surgery for 2022 are: 12^th October, 9^th November & 14^th December
