GPs look forward to new online consultation platform
GPs and staff at Oundle surgery are looking forward to the introduction of an online consultation platform which is being launched later this month.
‘Doctrin’ will give patients more choice as to how, and when, they contact the surgery. The platform can be accessed through the website and Lakeside staff are gearing up for its launch date of 15 September. The platform offers many benefits, including automatic triage, healthcare questionnaires and a personalised data dashboard for each patient.
GP Partner Dr Mike Richardson, Chair of Lakeside Healthcare said: ‘We certainly think many of our patients will embrace Doctrin, as it offers more choice about how and when they can get in touch and I am sure it will prove popular. We are encouraging patients to register for the NHS app as that will provide a secure log-in to Doctrin, via mobile devices and our practice website. However, I would like to reassure patients who are not able to use or access this technology, that they can continue to contact the surgery as normal.'
