Following feedback from patients and staff, we are pleased to inform you that our new telephone system will be installed this weekend and will be live from MONDAY 22 MAY 2017.
This will address the issues you have made us aware of, and as always we appreciate your feedback. The new system will have options for:
- Health care professionals
- Booking appointments, requesting home visits and general enquiries
- Cancelling appointments
- Test results (between 2pm and 5pm Monday to Friday)
- Repeat prescriptions (between 9am and 11am Monday to Friday)
The new system will provide call recording facilities as well as allowing callers to hear their position in the queue.
All existing phone numbers for the practice (appointments, enquiries, prescriptions) will still work, but from Monday 22 May will redirect callers to the appropriate part of the phone system. We would ask that people start to use 01832 273408 as the main number for the practice in the future.
